Bomburu Ella Waterfall
Situated between Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts, the Bomburu Ella Waterfall, also called Perawella Falls, is a little-known but hidden beauty. It is a grouping of several smaller waterfalls that spread out over an amazing 165 feet and drop down to a height of 50 meters. Its waters originate from a lake in the central highlands of Sri Lanka, which supplies water to the Uma River and the Bomburu Ella. The real beauty of the waterfall is found in the surroundings, which include a hike through the Sita Eliya Kandapola Forest Reserve. When guests get to the base, they can cool down in a naturally formed pool, but use caution because of the current and rough footing. The nearby rocks provide a spot to unwind and take in the strength and beauty of the cascading water. Since Bomburu Ella is a place that is somewhat off the main road, tourists should come prepared with appropriate boots and necessary supplies. Despite these difficulties, visitors to Nuwara Eliya who enjoy the outdoors will never forget their time spent at Bomburu Ella Waterfall.
