Maritime and Naval History Museum

The history and development of the island’s marine heritage is on display at the marine and Naval History Museum in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. It was inaugurated in 2013 and displays items ranging from prehistoric trade connections to the contemporary Sri Lankan navy. It is possible for tourists to gain knowledge about naval warfare, navigation tools, boat building methods, and the strategic significance of the island as a commerce hub.
